Pools built on knowledge
Horizon Pools is a family-owned Melbourne pool builder, led by second-generation pool builder Daniel Cutugno. For more than 30 years, we’ve been designing and constructing award-winning fibreglass and concrete pools for families across Victoria.
From our showroom and head office in Williamstown North, we work with clients in Bayside and across Melbourne, including Brighton, Toorak, Balwyn, Williamstown, Newport and Point Cook, as well as Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Surf Coast and Macedon Ranges.
Because we build both pool types with genuine expertise, our advice is shaped by what suits your home, your block and the way your family lives, not by what we happen to sell.
Our Story
Pool building runs in the Cutugno family. Daniel learned the trade working alongside his father, mastering every aspect of pool construction. What began as a small operation has grown into one of Melbourne’s most respected swimming pool builders. That hands-on experience, refined over more than 6,000 builds, means we know what works and what doesn’t.
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Every family is different, every block has its quirks, and every wish list is unique. We take the time to understand what you actually want, then build a pool that delivers exactly that, whether it’s fibreglass or concrete.
Unlike most Melbourne pool builders who only specialise in one pool type, we have equal expertise in both, which means our advice is genuinely unbiased. Whether your site, budget, or design vision points to fibreglass or concrete, we’ll recommend what’s right for you, not what’s right for us.
Our team handles every stage, from excavation through to finishing and handover. No subcontractors on critical work means consistent quality, clear communication, and fewer surprises.
We take the time to understand your property, your goals, and how you want to live before we recommend anything. No sales pitch, just straight talk about what will work and what won’t.

Horizon started more than 30 years ago as a family business built on a simple idea: give people honest advice and build pools properly. Daniel Cutugno grew up in the industry alongside his father and founded Horizon to offer genuine expertise across both fibreglass and concrete.
We listen to what you need, assess your site, and explain the pros and cons of each option honestly. Because we build both, there's no bias. We'll recommend whichever option genuinely suits your home, your budget, and your lifestyle.
Unlike most Melbourne pool builders, our dual-specialist capability and people-first philosophy set us apart. We don't subcontract key stages, we don't push unnecessary upgrades, and we treat every client the way we'd want to be treated.
Our clients range from young families building their first pool to homeowners renovating established properties, through to architects and builders working on high-end residential projects. As trusted swimming pool designers in Melbourne, we work with anyone who values honest advice and quality construction.
We use premium materials, proven construction methods, and rigorous quality control at every stage. Our comprehensive warranties reflect our confidence in the durability of every pool we build.
We design and build concrete and fibreglass swimming pools across Melbourne, the Bayside suburbs, Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Surf Coast and throughout regional Victoria including areas such as Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges. From inner-city homes and coastal properties to rural estates, our team travels to wherever the project is, bringing the same attention to detail and consultative approach to every site we work on.
Whether you’re just starting to think about a pool or you’ve got a clear vision ready to go, we’d love to hear from you. No pressure, no hard sell, just a friendly conversation with people who know pools inside and out.
