Fibreglass Pool Colours that Elevate Your Outdoor Space

A Colour For Every Kind Of backyard

Our range moves from soft, silvery tones to deep, atmospheric blues, each shade considered for the way it complements the architecture and materials of your home. Take your time, the right one tends to find you.

Silver Mist

Light, bright and endlessly fresh

A soft silvery blue that makes your water look clean and inviting all year round. It’s a natural light amplifier, so it works beautifully in courtyards, narrow backyards, or any Melbourne space that doesn’t get full sun all day. If you want your pool to feel open and airy, this is the one.

Horizon

Steady, calm and easy to live with

A balanced mid-tone blue that feels like looking out at a quiet stretch of ocean. It’s the kind of colour that settles into your backyard naturally, shifting gently with the light throughout the day. There’s a reason it shares our name, it’s honest, reliable and always looks good.

Twilight

Where blue meets something deeper

A rich, dark blue with hints of purple that gives your water real presence. It looks different every hour, shifting from moody and dramatic in the morning to warm and inviting as the afternoon light hits. It suits both classic Melbourne homes and more contemporary builds equally well.

Platinum

Calm, cool and easy on the eye

A versatile silver-grey with a soft shimmer that picks up whatever light is around it. On sunny days it glows, on overcast Melbourne afternoons it stays bright and fresh. It’s a smart choice if you want something modern that works with virtually any landscaping style.

Hamptons Blue

Coastal charm, right in your backyard

A lively, vibrant blue that catches the light in all the right ways. It looks stunning against pale stone or timber decking and brings that relaxed coastal feel to Melbourne homes, whether you’re five minutes from the beach or five suburbs away.

Moonlight

A soft glow that comes alive after dark

There’s something special about this colour once the sun goes down. It picks up ambient and pool lighting beautifully, giving your water a gentle, almost luminous quality. During the day it’s a calming mid-tone, but come evening, it really shines, making it a great choice if your family tends to swim later in the day.

Sky Blue

The one that never dates

If you picture a pool in your head, chances are it’s this colour. Sky Blue is the classic for a reason, it’s bright, inviting and works with just about everything. It’s the kind of finish that looks as good in ten years as it does on day one, and it suits every style of Melbourne home.

Graphite

Bold, modern and striking

A deep charcoal finish with subtle blue undertones that gives your pool a sleek, reflective quality. The water surface mirrors the sky and surrounding greenery, creating real visual impact. If your home leans toward clean lines and contemporary design, Graphite makes a strong statement without being over the top.

Delta Blue

Rich, deep and full of drama

The darkest in the range, Delta Blue gives your water a deep, inky quality that looks incredible at any time of day. It creates a real sense of depth and draws the eye, making it a natural centrepiece for Melbourne backyards. From early morning to dusk, the way this colour shifts with the light is something you won’t get tired of.

Aquamarine

Deep colour with real character

A rich, saturated blue-green that gives your water a jewel-like depth and intensity. It’s a confident choice that stands out in any setting, bringing a sense of warmth and richness to your pool area. If you want your pool to make a statement, Aquamarine delivers.

Argyle Blue

All sparkle, all day

This one’s a bit of a show-off. Argyle Blue has a multi-toned quality that plays with sunlight, creating movement and shimmer across the water’s surface. On a bright Melbourne day, the sparkle is hard to beat. It brings energy and life to your outdoor space without needing to go dark or dramatic.

A Note on Colour Selection. Every effort has been made to represent true colours, however variations may occur across different screens. We recommend viewing colour samples before making your final selection. Actual colours may vary slightly due to the use of multimedia particles and spray patterns. Each swimming pool is individually crafted to your requirements, and the final product may be subject to a colour variation of +/- 15% due to climatic conditions and the manufacturing process. Visit our display centre to see how each shade looks in person.

Why Pool Colour Matters

Pool colour changes everything. Light finishes like Silver Mist and Hamptons Blue keep things bright, bounce natural light, and help smaller spaces feel open. Go darker with Graphite or Delta Blue and the mood shifts, water looks deeper, reflections play across the surface, and the pool becomes a real focal point. The best choice works with what's already there, your paving, plants, and home. When the colour's right, everything clicks.

Setting the Tone of Your Outdoor Space

Your pool colour sets the mood for your entire backyard. A light, bright finish like Hamptons Blue or Silver Mist creates a relaxed, coastal feel that pairs naturally with pale stone and timber. A deeper shade like Twilight or Delta Blue brings a sense of sophistication and weight, suiting darker palettes and contemporary architecture. Think of your pool as the centrepiece, the colour you choose should complement what’s around it, not work against it.

How Water Colour Changes With Light and Surroundings

No pool colour looks the same all day. Morning light softens everything, midday sun brings out the full intensity, and late afternoon adds warmth and depth. Your surroundings play a role too, green landscaping can bring out cool tones, while warm paving amplifies blue hues. Even Melbourne’s overcast days change the picture, lighter colours stay bright while darker shades become moodier and more reflective. It’s one of the things that makes choosing a colour so rewarding.

Pool ColourGuard® Protection That Lasts

With our patented Pool ColourGuard® surface protection, your fibreglass pool colour will stay vibrant year after year. It’s designed to resist the effects of UV rays and pool chemicals, keeping your pool colour vibrant.

Built to Withstand Harsh UV Conditions

Melbourne’s UV conditions are tough, especially over summer. ColourGuard® technology includes a clear gelcoat layer that acts like sunscreen for your pool’s surface, absorbing harmful rays before they reach the colour beneath. It’s the reason our pools hold their colour long after others fade.

Fade-Resistant Finish for Vibrant, Long-Term Colour

The dual gelcoat colour layer in every ColourGuard® pool locks in pigment and resists the chemical wear that comes with everyday use. No fading, no weathered appearance, no dull patches. The colour you choose today is the colour you’ll see years from now.

Patented Protection, Twice Over

Pool ColourGuard® is the world’s only patented dual-coat surface protection system for fibreglass pools. Two layers work together against UV fade, chemical wear, and surface ageing, so the colour you choose is the colour that lasts.

Beautiful Finish

A high-gloss surface that catches the light and keeps its lustre over time. ColourGuard® pools have a smooth, refined finish that not only looks great from day one but stays that way, resisting the dullness that can affect lesser surfaces.

Choosing the Right Pool Colour for your home

Choosing your pool colour is one of the most enjoyable parts of the process, but it’s worth thinking beyond just what looks nice on a sample chip. The right colour should work with your home, your outdoor materials, and the natural light your backyard gets throughout the day.  Start with what’s already there. Look at your paving, your fencing, your home’s exterior palette. Light stone and white cladding tend to pair well with brighter blues and silvers, while darker architecture suits deeper, moodier tones.  Then think about your space. Lighter colours can make a compact backyard feel more open, while darker shades add weight and presence to a larger setting. The amount of sun your pool gets matters too, a shaded pool will look quite different to one in full northern exposure.

There’s no wrong answer, but the best results come when the colour feels like a natural fit rather than an afterthought. That’s where we can help during your consultation.

Common Questions Answered

Faq's about Fibreglass Pool Colours

Not with ColourGuard® protection. The patented dual gelcoat layer is designed to resist UV damage and chemical wear, keeping your colour vibrant.

Sunlight changes everything. The same colour will look brighter and more vibrant in full sun, and softer or deeper in shade. Morning light, midday intensity, and afternoon warmth all bring out different qualities. It's one of the best things about fibreglass pool colours.

They can, slightly. Darker finishes absorb more heat than lighter ones, which can raise water temperature by a couple of degrees. It's not a substitute for heating, but it's a nice bonus during Melbourne's shoulder seasons.

Lighter shades like Silver Mist and Platinum work well in compact or partially shaded spaces. They reflect more natural light, keep the water looking bright, and can make a smaller pool feel more open and spacious than it actually is.

Samples give you a good starting point, but water depth, sunlight, and surrounding materials all influence the final appearance. We always recommend looking at photos of completed pools in your chosen colour.

ColourGuard® uses a patented multi-layer system including a clear gelcoat for UV protection and a dual colour layer for fade resistance.  Standard finishes simply don't offer the same level of long-term protection.
